How do you get Daily news that isn't biased?

Read a range of coverage from various outlets. If a news source has a reputation for trying to promote a particular, practice spotting the ways, both obvious and subtle in which they may be doing that.

Be on the lookout for moments when the writer or interviewer, or the subject, may be pushing an agenda even without realizing they are doing so because it forms part of their reality construct; watch out for assumptions and phrases like “of course.”

And dig as far as you can into Daily news primary sources. Research the person being interviewed, read the document that’s being referenced.

Much Daily News these days is focused on various people, who hold various biases of their own, reacting to events or even just reacting to others’ reactions. It’s lazy and unhelpful and creates a big clamorous mess. Be wary of those who are clearly incapable of questioning their own core assumptions, who are assigning broader meanings to specific occurences that just happen to conveniently fit their assumptions, and/or are trying to hook your emotions.

Sorry I don’t have a simpler answer like “just go to X website for the truth.” We’re all fallible, and even stopped clocks are right twice a day.
